Friendly competition in duplicate bridge for local teams
Rugby is a market town in a corner of Warwickshire, with easy access from surrounding towns and villages in Leicestershire and Northamptonshire.
The aim of our league is to provide friendly competition in duplicate bridge for local teams .
Matches are usually hosted by individual team members in their own homes.
Four individuals from each team make a match.
Teams usually chose from between 6 to 8 members, but there is no limit as long as the players are registered with the league fixtures secretary. See the Application Form for next Season's registration.

DIVISION 1: Rugby All Stars
Division 2: Rugby Discards
In
Division 1, Rugby All Stars beat Leamington Dinosaurs 15 - 5. This was the last
match of the season and sealed the championship, with Rugby All Stars winning
the Championship for the 2008-9 Season of the League. It was also the first and
only time during the season that the All Stars hit the top of the table. Rugby
All Stars (Alan Webb (Capt.), Dennis Angove, Marion Dixon, Helen Foster, John
Lord, Rita Lord, Marjorie Davies and Ron Golby) now have won the championship
three times.
